To ensure that we meet customer demand for places, we’re making an early announcement about the 2026 IGT Service Tour, which is currently scheduled for mid-late May.

With high demand across Europe, for site visits from the specialist IGT engineers, we’re keen to secure dates for the UK, as soon as possible.

Reasons why service is vital to performance
With even a gap of 12 months between services there will have been small changes in the mechanics of your IGT printability testers and proofers.

For those of you with a longer gap between services, that, together with the progressive hardening of printing discs and inking rollers (from inevitable ink ingress) will mean a slow change to the print results you’ve been seeing, even when the same device settings are used.

IGT’s recommendation has always been to service equipment annually and to replace printing discs and inking rollers annually. If this is not done on a regular basis, users are highly likely to experience a slow degradation and a step change in print results, when action is eventually taken.
