Rubproofness Tester
Determines the ink rubproofness of printed samples
Determines the ink rubproofness of printed samples. It is suitable for use on labels, folding cartons, corrugated board, film and converted foil.
The ink rub tester tests the abrasion resistance of different materials – printed, coated, wet or dry, on paper, cardboard or foil. Abrasion resistance is a critical property of printed materials as damage can occur during shipment, storage, handling and in end use.
Abrasion resistance is important for labels, folding cartons, corrugated boxes, inserts, board, corrugated board, plastic and aluminium film.
The control panel has digital controllers with digital indication of test speed, test temperature and number of strokes. Test sleds are supplied with fast action spring clamps for quick and easy positioning of test pieces.
