IGT FlexoProofer
Advanced printing device, developed for printing accurate and reproducible proofs of (mixed) colours on a specific substrate
The powerful computer in the IGT FlexoProofer, accurately controls all of the movements of the ink section, with its engraved anilox roller and doctoring system, the printing form (photopolymer) and substrate section, to generate high-quality prints, according to a pre-set profiles. These profiles can easily be created and/or adjusted on the touchscreen monitor.
The IGT FlexoProofer delivers highly accurate and reproducible prints, ensuring optimal correlation with the production press. Deviations between different prints are below Delta E (dE) 1. This ensures that the correlation with the printing press is always close, which minimises expensive press down time, due to bad colour matching.
Kiss-print printing force principle | The pressure (force) between anilox and both sectors are controlled very accurately with sensors. |
Open-chamber doctoring system | This doctoring system brings the doctor blade into contact with the anilox roll, allowing precise ink dosing. The open- chamber doctoring system prevents ink running off to the edges of the anilox, which may cause fouling. |
Advanced clamping system | The printing form (photopolymer) can be easily clamped and changed. If required, a compressible cliché tape can be mounted underneath the photopolymer. |
Substrate sector | The substrate is secured in clamps and can be easily removed after printing. |
Replacing anilox roll and sectors | If necessary, both the anilox roll and sectors can be changed easily and quickly, without readjustment. |
User-friendly interface | The operator receives clear instructions when performing a print job. |
Anilox roll | Has a width of 100 mm with a 95% screening. Standard slalom-cell geometry engraving is available in different volumes. |
Profile settings | All settings, such as number of pre-inking revolutions, speed and printing force, can be saved and stored as a profile. |
Cleaning mode | All parts of the inking and printing section can be cleaned quickly and thoroughly |
