Determines the influence of water, or damping solution, on the tack of inks in offset printing

The IGT TackOscope measures the tack of ink with a very high level of repeatability and reproducibility, enabling international companies to ensure homogeneous tack values worldwide. Ideal as a research tool and for the confident development of new inks.

Compared to the previous TackOscope II model the biggest advancements are the build in computer and thermostatic waterbath. There is an automated roller lifting system on the measuring and distribution roller which significantly contributes to the consistent reliability, repeatability and reproducibility.

TackOscope-III model SC – for measuring the tack of a paste ink, or varnish.

TackOscope III model LC – also for observing the influence of dampening solution on the ink, enabling the behavior of both the ink and the influence of the dampening fluid to be assessed.
