The Rycolab Crush Tester is suitable for a variety of tests on board & corrugated board. It has a measuring range up to 5000kPa with an accuracy of ±1% of the displayed value. Tests are simple to select from the touch screen and the test cycle is automatic, with break detection prompting the return to the start position. Built on a sturdy frame.

Test Description
The sample to be tested is placed on the crush platens. Initiating the start button on the touch screen (or the separate start-button) the lower plate is moved with the selected speed (normally 12.5 mm/min) up to the higher platen. The sample between the platens is crushed, the necessary force for the test is registered and the curve is displayed on screen. After break detection the plate returns to the start position.
