Rycolab Water Column – Water Proof Tester

Determines resistance to water penetration of materials subjected to hydrostatic pressure

The Rycolab Water Column – Water Proof Tester is used to explore the resistance to water penetration of fabrics, technical textiles, bonded, coated, elastane, goretex, hi-tech membranes and other materials when subjected to hydrostatic pressure. Results are expressed in cm.H2O.

Features

• Water proof limits are determined, only after detecting the first three drops on the sample surface, in compliance with standards
• HMI Touch panel interface enables parameter setting, test monitor, results saving and files (.CSV) exported on request through USB port
• Sample is locked between test area flanges, by means of manual closing system with handles, or a pneumatic clamp (on request)
• ASCII printer for rapid paper reports of results
• WEBSERVER and application software BWP4.0, for management in real time, statistical evaluations and trend analyses for test reports
• Optional: Halogen lamp for visual inspection.
