The latest news from IGT

IGT Testing Systems, continues to update and re-imagine their complete range of testing equipment for the paper, ink and graphic industries.

The latest to be launched, is the all new IGT FlexoProofer, which joins the impressive range of 10 Amsterdam mulit-purpose printability testers.

With many familiar units, such as the Global Standard Tester (GST) now obsolete, the Amsterdam series offers a range of 10 new and impressive, digital alternatives.

The Amsterdam Series
Engineered to deliver computer controlled, automated test methods, that also reduce user error. Available in multi-purpose, or test specific formats. With, or without, a computer controlled camera, for more accurate analysis of the test strip results.

IGT FlexoProofer
Delivers highly accurate and reproducible prints, ensuring optimal correlation with the production press. Deviations between different prints are below Delta E (dE) 1*, which minimises expensive press down time, due to bad colour matching.

.

* Delta E (dE) is a measurement of how much a displayed colour can differ from its input colour. Lower Delta E values mean better colour accuracy.

IGT LintView
The cause of linting of uncoated papers, is the release of fibres and fibre bundles from the surface of the paper. The LintView is ideal for newsprint, calendered paper, cardboard and certain types of tissue. Also used for toner adhesion testing, by digital printing equipment manufacturers.
