IGT Amsterdam – the next level IGT printability tester
IGT Amsterdam printability testers are engineered to deliver, computer controlled, automated test methods that help prevent users from making mistakes. In this way, variations in results are minimised and the outcome of each test is less dependent on the operator.
The internal computer controls the correct positioning of the printing disc, the moment that pressure is applied to each individual printing shaft, the exact force of the printing disc on the sector, the start of the print, printing with constant, or increasing speed and the activation of the camera that takes a high-resolution scan for the analysis.
Certain Amsterdam configurations are focused on R&D, with a set of specific test methods, while other Amsterdams are intended for Quality Control. Please explore the detailed list below:
Amsterdam H – Automated multi-purpose printability tester, dedicated to the Heliotest. Single printing shaft and doctoring system.
Amsterdam H Basic – As the Amsterdam H, but not equipped with the camera and analysis software.
Amsterdam P – Automated printability tester with a single printing shaft. Dedicated to the Pick Test.
Amsterdam P Basic – As the Amsterdam P but without a camera and without the Picktest analysis system. It does include the complete test set to perform the IGT Pick test.
Amsterdam W – Automated multi-purpose printability tester, with a single printing shaft and doctoring system. Dedicated to the Westvaco Pick Test.
Amsterdam W Basic – As the Amsterdam W, but without a camera and without the Picktest analysis system. It does include the complete test set to perform the Westvaco Pick test.
Amsterdam 2 – Automated multi-purpose printability tester with dual print shafts.
Amsterdam 2 Basic – As the Amsterdam 2, but not equipped with the camera and analysis software.
Amsterdam 5 – Automated multi-purpose printability tester with five printing shafts.
Amsterdam 6 – Automated multi-purpose printability tester with six printing shafts.
