Benchtop Coefficient of Friction Tester and Peel Tester
The FP-2265 Friction Peel Tester is the latest bench top coefficient of friction tester and peel tester from Thwing Albert. Designed specifically for quality control and R&D testing of plastic film, paper, paperboard, adhesives, labels, and flexible packaging materials.
It measures static and kinetic coefficient of friction, peel strength, seal strength, and light tensile strength up to 10kg (22 lbs). The FP-2265 operates as a stand alone instrument. No PC required. The addition of a new colour touchscreen and built-in pneumatic controls, make the FP-2265 faster to set up and easier to operate.
The FP-2265 Friction/Peel Tester replaces the FP-2260 and earlier models. The fixtures and load cells from the FP-2260, FP-2255, and FP-2250 are compatible.
COF Test Mode — Coefficient of Friction
Measures the static coefficient of friction, kinetic coefficient of friction and slide angle. Tests can be configured by time, or distance, with results including kinetic COF standard deviation across the full test.

Peel Test Mode — Peel and Seal Strength
Tests the seal strength and peel adhesion of plastic film, paper, paperboard, adhesives, corrugated, labels, and packaging materials. Configurable for 180° peel, 90° peel, and T-peel tests. Results include peel average, high, low, and standard deviation.

Tensile Test Mode — Light Tensile
Performs lightweight tensile tests up to 10 kg (22 lbs). Results include peak force, elongation at peak, and elongation at break. Available with manual or pneumatic tensile grips.
