Measures roughness and air permeance according to the Bendtsen method
Measures the roughness and air permeability according to the Bendtsen method and Gurley porosity is calculated from the measured values.

Built on a sturdy aluminium frame, the device has a built in touch-screen and microprocessor and equipped with up to two measuring heads, for top and bottom roughness measurements and for air permeability. Fully automated measuring cycle with a flow rate range is 0 – 3000 ml/min. as standard. Other flow rates ranges are available on request.
Available in three configurations:

- 2 x measuring heads – 1 x Roughness and 1 x Porosity.
Test description – Surface roughness:
The sample is placed below the measuring head. The measuring head is lowered onto the sample and gently clamped, by pushing the start button. The test starts, and when the preset flow rate (e.g. 1.47 ml/min) is stable, the measurement value is displayed. The test time is adjustable from 1 – 40 seconds. The sample is released after test and the measuring head returns to the resting position.
Test description – Air permeability:
The procedure is as above and the Gurley values are calculated according to the standard and, as the default, are displayed in Gurley seconds.
